Hello, I've just purchased EZN inks to use in my Epson C86 printer. The image appears fine in Photoshop Elements and looks fine in Print Preview. However, when I print the image, parts of the image appear as normal, but some parts are appearing as though they are negative-like i.e. the opposite tones to what they should be. Has anyone come across this problem, and if they sorted it, how did they do it? Thanks.

Odd. What paper and slider settings are you using? Glossy paper? Scott edward676198 wrote:

Hi, Paper being used is Epson Archival Matte. Sliders are all set to zero. Ed. --- In DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com, Scott McLoughlin <scott@a...> wrote: > Odd. Hi Folks. I've been printing awhile with a C86 and Mis EZ inks, and I'd like to consider getting a bigger printer. Would a used or refurbished 7600 be a good idea? What would a decent price for one of these be? Regards, Peter De Smidt Fond du Lac,WI

If you can wait for the new printers to hit the stores, then you should see the better prices. Personally, I wouldn't pay more than $1500 for a 7600 right now, and at that I would want a refurb unit with warranty. If you are going to buy "old" technology, you might as well get it at a bargin.

Paul, Thanks for the tip. This seems to have cured the problem. Ed. --- In DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com, "Paul Roark" <paul.roark@v...> wrote:
