Anyone in Southern California?

Anyone in Southern California?

2005-07-18 by Steve Matten

Is anyone on the forum in Southern California or have gallery showings
in So Cal in the near future? I would love to see some of your work and
maybe grab a little 'face time'.

Thanks!
Steve Matten

I don't show in galleries, but lots of my stuff is shot in SoCal.

Steve: if you scroll back a couple of days, you'll find my post ('Show
Opening'), but here's a direct link:

Michael,

I saw that reply just after I posted! Great! I work very close to the
Flash Gallery. I will be there for sure.

One thing about your announcement, it stays that the gallery is open
Wednesday but give the dates of 8/11, 8/18, 9/8 and 9/22. Those are
Thursdays according to my calendar. Which is correct?

I would like to come by the Aug 17 or 18, whichever is correct. Any
chance you will be there about 2:45 in the afternoon?

Paul,

Do you print your B&W using the techniques described in this forum?
Do you live in So. Cal? If so, what part? I'm in Orange County but
work in Long Beach.

I live in Pacific Palisades. I don't print very much, since only print for
myself, friends and family, but I've printed with the 2200 with Epson
profiles, the 2200 with my own profiles, the 2200 in BO mode, the 2200 with
ImagePrint, and the 2200 with QTR. Lately, I've resurrected my old 2000P and
put the MIS UT-FSN quadtones in it, and have been tinkering with custom QTR
curves for it. That seems the most promising.
