Digital BW, The Print

Hi All,

I'm running OSX 10.2.8 (Jaguar) and trying to use Quad Tone RIP. I've
installed Ghostscript, QTR, and profiles. When I try to print, the
Print Monitor window opens and it says "printing" for a few seconds;
then the file disappears from the print que and nothing prints. I'm
printing to an Epson 2200.

Any ideas?

On Mac OSX you just select Print from the File
Menu. Dial up the installed printer you are using it on. Pull down 
the menu to
QuadTone
RIP (the one where you select options like Copies and Pages, Layout, 
etc...).
From there you
just dial up the appropriate curve (which is like a profile) and send 
it off

Chris,

There have been a few backward compatibility problems running on Jaguar.
There is a version 2.3 that is still listed as "beta" but has been tested more
extensiively with Jaguar and works the best.

See the download page and at the top is a link to the "beta" version.  This
is 2.3.  Simply download, install 2.3.0 package and install the profiles.  I'm
pretty sure this will solve your difficulties.
