After burning the first few sheets, I set the paper under weight all night and managed to get most of the curl out. That has helped. The paper was obviously "reaching up" to the ink cartridge as it cleared the slot through which it passes during printing and getting smeared with ink. I do like the result, especially with black and white. Thanks for your comment Mitch.

I'm trying out Fiba and am on my second box. I've had occasional feed
problems, more than with EEM. But in no case has a sheet been ruined.
Usually, if it won't go in, it just sits there. I'll then apply a
little pressure and it takes the next time, and usually lines up
