Digital BW, The Print

I installed today a complete set of MIS EZ cartridges on a brand new 
Epaon C86, and erroneously did not peel off the silver tape that 
covers the cartridge top. The printer did the charging cycle, giving 
no error message. Then it did not print when ordered to by Photoshop. 
I then did a small hole in the silver tape in order to open the small 
hole that I guess lets air into the cartridge, but the printer is not 
printing either. Noozle cleaning cycles have been useless. Can anybody 
help me to solve this initial problem?

I made the same mistake on my C84.  How would I have known
differently, there weren't any instructions enclosed with the carts or
on their website.

Best thing is to call their tech support line.  They're very helpful.
