Todd,
From what I have heard (from sales-type people) is that the 8000s are, in fact, coming out in March (or so),
and that the last 7000s will be coming into the US right after the first of the year.

Further that the 8000s will use the same technology as the 10000s, and be relatively pricey as compared to the
7000s.  Also, that there will be a 3 month period between the availability of the 2 different models so as
time is given to clear all the remaining 7000 inventory.
