QTR v2.2.4 Win XP Epson R300

QTR v2.2.4 Win XP Epson R300

2005-09-20 by William Wilson

I tried my first print on QTR to my R300 the image came out YELLOW and
VIOLET that was from a greyscale TIFF on Epson Glossy paper with std inkset.

Rather than chase my tail on this one, any idea why is it printing these
colours, more interestingly the image is smaller than the paper and the dead
space which should be white (no image) printed yellow and I mean yellow.

Cancel this I realised a curves had been selected, the first print is
blowing the highlights and no real blacks, but looks clean no colour casts.

Ran the same image through the 9600 with no QTR adjustments, the image is
denser I can see the the bronzing, also there is a distinct brown cast, but
overall a much better range of tones than the R300 I have PremierArt Print
Shield I will try a coating tomorrow.
