Using PKN instead of Eboni on Matte papers

Using PKN instead of Eboni on Matte papers

2005-09-29 by Jamie Creed

I'm using a modified UT2 inkset on a 1290 (I've replaced Eboni with
PKN and put FSN-y in the yellow position - I use this combination for
Glossy/Semigloss papers to great effect.)

Question: Is there anything inherently wrong with using the PKN and
FSN-y on Matte papers, or is it just a Dmax issue,

Regards, Jamie.

No, it's just that the PKN will only hit about 1.4 on matte paper.
