Yup. The 1280 is better. The 1160 is still great though. Get the normorecarts Continuous ink system for whichever printer you get, and it comes with a chip that always reads full. Should you ever need to reset it, just turn the printer off, then on, and it's reset. The Variable tone Inks from MIS is one of the best quad or hex inksets, With a Paul Roark curve, you have the choice of a very warm to a very cool image. Best papers? Here's a few that are great performers. Best buy? The Epason archival Matte from http://www.atlex.com Or the Epson Watercolor Paper from the same place. 1. Eclipse Satine or Velvet 2. Epson Arvchival Matte 4. Legion Photo Matte 5. Any of the Hahnem\ufffdhle papers are great. Cheapest price is Media street to get them, but they rebrand them with their own names. The Hahne\ufffdhle papers have great blacks, are a little more expensive, and some have flaking problems, so handle carefully. Jerry
