Paper type selection problems with R2400

Paper type selection problems with R2400

2005-10-11 by nuno_quinteira

Dear members,

I have a R2400 and was trying to print using Velvet Fine Art paper.
While in PS CS, I open "Print..." menu and try to select media type.
From the paper list, I can see "Velvet Fine Art" papaer type (light
grey letters, not solid black) but I cannot select it.

Anyone knows what I am doing wrong? I have a Mac computer and run OS X.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Best regards,
Nuno

Do you have the matte black ink installed, and recognized by the printer?

You need matte black ink installed, use the rear paper feed slot,
and select "manual roll" in page setup.

Nuno,
You need to choose:Manual/Roll in the page setup window to get the Velvet
Fine Art choice. Manual roll is a sub-option from the paper size choice.

If you have the PK ink in the printer the matte papers
will not be available. Make sure you have the matte
black installed. Then you should be O.K.
