Anyone know where to get an epson 1160 printer?

with a refurbed 1160 waiting list, but they also have/had a few new 
ones (you have to ask and for some reason push a little).

I recently bought one from them and it shipped fast and was as 
promised.

It's worth putting your name on the list, though. I got one there a 
couple months ago... After waiting almost 4 months... They call you 
to see if you still want it.

I agree with that... But where can you buy one on the spot at any 
price? I would buy an extra brand new one just to put it away in 
reserve.

The same place I posted for a refurbed waiting list.  I just had to 
bug them a little about new ones and they coughed one up for me:)  
Didn't really understand the process.  I had to fill out some forms 
requesting a reburbed unit and somehow was then able to purchase a 
new one... don't know if they still have any more, but I think they 
did when I bought mine a few weeks ago.

A friend of mine just got a 1280 and WOW!  Might get one of those for 
color work once I get the 1180 set up with the MIS VM and CFS.
