Sell 1160 MIS VM or FS carts?

Sell 1160 MIS VM or FS carts?

2001-12-23 by jimhayes361

I'm clearing a bad clog on my 1160 right now, and doing some
experiments. I need a set of prefilled sealed carts from MIS
(avaialble since November) preferably VM, but will consider FS. For
this purpose I don't want to use refilled or virgin filled carts.

Unfortunately, MIS is closed until January 2nd, and I don't want to
let my current cleaning carts sit in there for two weeks unless
absolutely nessesary. I could just put in some Epson carts, but a nice
black and color VM set of carts would get me printing and able to run
more experiments and prints.

Jim-

I can understand you wanting to get printing, but from experience I
can tell you that leaving the cleaning carts in will do you no harm
and may really help keep the clogs at bay for a while... I left a set
in mine for 2 weeks and ran a nozzle check and clean every few days
for a couple of weeks and fixed the worst clog I've ever had (I
really didn't think it was fixable but just got stubborn <g>).

You can get MIS quads (not FS or VM) from Inkjetart. They will be
open on the 26th.

Enjoy the holiday.
