Paper choices - a reminder

Paper choices - a reminder

2001-08-13 by antonisphoto@yahoo.com

Some days ago I set up a "database" under our group's Database option (see
menus to the left on the Yahoo page). This is not like my infamous paper
database that already contains close to 200 records. This one is meant to be
filled in by all of us as end-users.

I asked that everyone here please go and fill in a record or two with their
favorite papers. Only a couple of others besides me have done that, and I
would like to remind everyone to please participate.

The hope is that we will have a better sense of what papers we all like for
what use and why.

Thank you all in advance for giving this a try.

An "equivalent" or "rebrand" field would be helpful. I, among many,
get lost in the paper names. Harder to do would be something like
"same paper as __ but proprietary coating by __" but useful. Isn't
Lyson, or Legion, claiming proprietary coatings?

Tim,

we have a Hahnemuehle name equivalence list in our Files area. The
problem with the Database function that Yahoo offers for the list is the limit of
10 fields. So, in order to allow for an extra column I would have to take out
one of the existing ones. Any suggestions?

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
