VFA question

VFA question

2005-12-18 by glemasurier

I'm loading a 13x19 sheet of VFA in the 2400 single sheet tray, but the printer
keeps pulling the paper too far in, leaving me with an unwanted leading edge
margin. I'm printing a 12 x16 image.

I'm choosing "Super B - manual roll" in the page setup menu as
recommended by the Epson documentation.

Can anyone tell me what I'm wrong?

Cheers,
George Le Masurier

I load VFA in the top feeder. It doesn't seem to have any problem
with it, other than needing the slightest nudge to get it started.

Clayton

I wasn't clear, sorry. I use the top feeder, too, but not the front/standard one,
the one at the back of the printer. I have an idea – I discovered a drop down
menu on the print driver page where you also must select "standard" or
"manual-roll." That may solve my problem.

George

BTW, Followed your 2400 workflow from your Web site and it works great. The
tip on using the "assign profiles" to match the screen to the test print was
worth 10 times the price. :)

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
