Image adjustments for Glamour II
2006-01-18 by Chris Hargens
I've been experimenting with Glamour II coating with some success on various matte papers . About 30% water to 70% coating seems to work best -- too little water and streaking and uneven dry-down can become a problem, too much water and you get incomplete coverage, which produces a mottled look. Anyway, I'd like to adjust my images in PS to compensate for the increased dmax and attendant slight reduction in shadow detail that comes with coating. I'm sure I can achieve this through trial and error, but I thought I'd ask those on the list who've used Glamour II if they have any formula/percentage/technique that works. Chris Hargens
