Digital BW, The Print

Does anyone here have a Sony Artisan? I am having problems with images in Photoshop 
that I have saved...on any random day when I open them they are all darker! This has 
happened several times and it's incredibly frustrating after I have worked so hard to get 
them to look a certain way. The monitor stays calibrated for 30 days, then you must re-
calibrate it. I have one day left...and while last night the images all looked normal, tonight 
they are much darker...could that be the problem?

Can anyone explain this?

Are you letting the monitor "warm-up" first?

I've always let my monitor warm up, after being turned on, for at 
least 20 minutes before I do any "criticle work".

Let the monitor stay "on", without the screensaver being activated, 
and see if this helps.

Thanks, Scott. It was plenty warmed up when I got around to opening PS, though. I'm 
going to try re-calibrating it.

You might want to try resetting the controls. it might have had a 
memory glitch. Either that or you might soon be in the market for a 
new display...
