Can someone provide information regarding how to do "black only" printing?

fwiw, i would be using a epson 4000, studioprint 11, cone inks
(selenium/warm nuetral)

Given what you have why would you want to run one ink?  I assume SP can be
made to run just the K channel very easily.

I have an image taken with tri-x that I think might look better untoned.

I've only used the demo for Studio Print, but it seems like it was 
super easy to make a configuration with one (or more) channels turned 
on. Seems like the user manual should cover this topic.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
