Museo Silver BO

I (and others) have previously posted that Silver Rag does not work
well with the UC inkset of the 2200, 4000, 7600, etc. printers - too
much bronzing and glosss differential.

I just tried BO printing with a 4000 PK ink on a sheet of the Silver
Rag beta paper. Hmm, superb. It has some minor GD and brozing, perhaps
similar to BO printing on Kirkland paper. But what print presence! I
was never a traditional darkroom printer, so I cannot give you any
equivalent. All I can say is that if you like warm side of neutral
prints, Silver Rag with UC PK is pretty spectacular. It is easily
rivals some of my best prints; technically, i.e.

Interesting report, thanks. What part of the print is showing GD - is
it along borders between large density differences? Or in particular
zones? And how about the bronzing - is it only in areas of certain
densities?
