OT: Sorry, just a quick one: Need separate syringes for different colours?

I use the same syringe and just rinse under a running tap between
refills - have no noticeable problems for colour or mono inksets on an
R220 or 1290.

Separate syringes makes things go faster and life much simpler. You
can get by with just one but they are so cheap that it's not worth the
hassle.

I've solved the syringe problem by following the advice of some smart cookie
on this forum by using his method, ie: drilling a hole in the top of my 4 oz
refill bottles, gluing in a needle inflator and inserting a straight pin in
the hole when not in use. Works like a charm, just insert the needle
inflator in the cart, tip the bottle and fill. No washing or changing
syringes required. When the bottle is empty I just screw the top with the
inflator needle onto the new refill bottle.

Sorry, I can't remember who first wrote about this technique, but whoever
you are, THANKS!
