Which printer would you add?

Which printer would you add?

2002-01-14 by lyonscox

I was thinking of adding a printer to my toolbox in the next few
months. Maybe a 1280 and was trying to decide between MIS VM inks or
the indelible/perpetual set (B/W vs archival color)...

In the long run I'll have the C80 for small proofing & office stuff.
Have the 3000 for larger things (Lysonic E color in it now).
The 'new' printer would be for mid-size work. There is the potential
of replacing the 3000 with an imaginary printer that I think would be
a large version of the C80, that would probably become the dedicated
printer to B/W, if it were a 4 color.

Perspectives?
Thanks

Cleavis-

I'm considering the same thing... The 1280 is a really great choice,
but I'm waiting a month or two... Epson has a history of announcing
new printers in February (could this by the reason that Jon Cone is
announcing a new version of Piezography in Feb????).

Stay tuned...
