Banding also with QTR, Eboni and EEM

I was finishing off the stock epson ink doing some black only prints through QTR on EEM (all on an R1800) I noticed some horizontal banding (looking at the paper in portrait). So I tried cleaning the heads...no go. I changed that ink out for eboni. Still there! Any ideas? thanks doug
