1800 help

1800 help

2006-05-14 by Tim Timmermans

When I first got my 1800 a month ago it was working fine. Pretty much
wysiwyg. Now all of a sudden the prints are extremely dark. REALLY dark.
I've tried head cleaning to no avail. Any ideas as to what happened
and how to remedy this? How does one access and apply the profiles you
guys talk about?

 Thanks,

Tim

Hi Tim;

Something has to have changed in the driver settings to cause this; for
instance, if you were using color controls and then switched to 'ICM'
you'd get a change. If you were on 'ICM' and inadvertently checked
the 'no adjustment' box you'd get exactly this result-everything would
print very dark, unless you had switched over color management to your
image editor or QTR, Qimage, etc. Look carefully.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
