MIS UT inks

Paul Roark has been busily generating monochrome ink formulations for MIS, and Epson has been busy replacing printer models on a regular basis. Would it be unreasonable to ask Paul or MIS to provide a chart showing what overlaps there are between the inks for various printers? I dearly love the C86 EZ print system and inks, at least in part because the black-position inks are "regular" Eboni or PhotoBlack, and the Cyan, Yellow and Magenta positions use the same ink formula. That makes it very easy to keep a good supply of bulk ink: Eboni or PhotoBlack, which I use with colour and everything else, and one bottle of EZN and one of EZW for the "colour" positions. It would be very convenient if the R220 could use the C86/88 EZ inks for Magenta, Cyan and Yellow positions, and then added *one* further ink for the "light" positions (light cyan and light magenta). And if the simplicity could be extended to cover the Epson 2200 (by making the 2200's light black the same as the light colours), the Epson printer upgrades would be much easier to handle. To the extent possible, all the printers would ideally use THE SAME: 1) Eboni or Photoblack 2) Cyan/Magenta/Yellow position neutral or warm inks 3) Light Cyan/Magenta/Yellow/Black neutral or warm inks. If this were possible, it would be *much* easier to maintain several printers. Myron
