The MIS UT-2 inks ARE in fact pigment inks, and by most accounts very "archival", depending upon what paper(s) you are printing on.. My advice base on personal experience would be for you to first try a set of "filled" carts from MIS, and use Paul Roark's curves..I think you will really like the results..If that works out for you, get a set or two of their re-fillable "spongeless" carts, and buy your ink in 4 oz bottles from them.. IMHO, stay away from any CFS/CIS systems..They all work pretty good for a while, but then tend to clog up with remedies of very mixed results..(I've owned 4 of them..)..You may also want to consider the QTR (quad tone rip) from Roy Harrington, which only costs $50.00 and has a really easy graphic interface....
