Using UT2 in an R1800?

Using UT2 in an R1800?

2006-08-01 by Dale Lum

Hello,

I've got an Epson 1280 which has three clogs from hell. I've tried every
cleaning method I can find, with no luck. I think it's time to throw it out.

From what I've read, the R1800 seems to have fewer clogging problems. First
of all, is this true? Secondly, I've got a large amount of UT2 that I would
hate to go to waste. Is it possible to use UT2 with the R1800?

thanks,
Dale

Not easily. If you have a rip and are good at making your own curves it
might work. I've never tried B&W inks in an 1800.
