Epson ABW and K3

Epson ABW and K3

2006-08-06 by dgattarino

I would like to print B&W photos using the Epson driver and ABW
with an R2400 and/or a Pro4800.
However, I would like to force the driver to use only the three
black inks of the K3 inkset, with no intervention of the colored
inks. Which settings should use in order to do that?

Cheers,
   Daniela

I don't think it can be done with the Epson driver. You'll have to
use a RIP. QTR has a fully functional shareware version. It's very
popular and used by many here.

I don't think you'll like it. I tried it and the K3 black inks have an ugly yellow/green cast to
them.

To have the least amount of color ink mixed a carbon warm tint is you best bet in ABW.
