I know you have the 3000.  Did you remove the pizza wheels?  How about others 
with the 3000?

Hi Helene,

I do have two 3000s, but I do not use the "heavy" papers (though I primarily
use Epson Heavyweight Matte, which, to me, isn't really a heavy paper), so I
don't have a problem with the pizza wheels...so I left them...  Seems more a
problem with the really heavy papers from what I remember hearing.

I haven't removed the wheels on either of my 3000's -  no problems.
