(OT) DSLR infrared camera conversion recos?

(OT) DSLR infrared camera conversion recos?

2006-10-24 by Intrinsic Pictures

Hi all,

Figuring there have to be many digital IR shooters here on the list.
Anyone have personal experience, good or bad, with one of the camera
conversion services?

So far, I've heard these 2 mentioned most:
-- lifepixel.com (tons of detailed info on site, sound like they know
their stuff, seem to be lots of non-famous fans around the Web)
-- irdigital.net (almost nothing on their site, but recos from George
Lepp, recent Shutterbug, others)

Any info on these or others much appreciated. Only caveat is they have
to do a Canon DSLR.

Please feel free to reply off-list if you feel this is too OT.

Thanks,
Doug
