Hi all I am looking at moving up in format size from A4 (8.5 x 11) to A3 (13 x 19). I can get a used 1160 or a used 1280. I read on the MIS website that the 4 color printers(1160)actually do a better job with MIS CIS inks than the 6 color printers(1280)do. The site goes on to say that the 6 color units lay down too much ink and that dot gain could be a real issue. As I want to convert this printer to a CIS unit (B&W MIS VM)and do it only once I would greatly appreciate any input from current 1160 ~ 1280 users. Thanks in advance. Don Rooney
