Digital BW, The Print

  I'm watching my first snow fall in 30 years and my first since relocating from California to Colorado last week. Wow.
   
  Any way I've been watching this thread while taling a break from unpacking and want to add this to the mix. I'm going to do a series of canvas on my 2200 and I'm going to display them as wall hangings. I'm going to fold and sew the side edges and hem the top and bottom edges with a loop for a wooden or metal rod.
   
  They will hung as wall tapestries. I got the idea from a fabric artist friend and from to many dinners in mom & pop Chinese restraunts:-) I'll have the first ones ready at the end of December and will post a shot of the finished piece.
   
  I believe that as artists we bend the so called rules as long as what we present is our best work in inthe image andthe presentation.

No rule bending with tapestries, they've been around for a very long 
time in printed, painted, or woven form (maybe others). Though I'm 
not sure how well the inkjet material will respond to the sewing 
machine, so please do report how well it works.

And to get off topic, tapestries printed on (inkjet) silk are kind of 
neat.
