I am a bit late getting on the R220 bandwagon, and I at this point I cannot find a new or factory refurb'd R220 online. It appears that the R220 has been replaced by the R260. My question is "Does anyone know of a dedicated b+w inkset for use with the R260?" Thanks Cory

Not yet. But, the refurb R340 is still available for abut $70, and it uses the same carts as the R220. So, you have lots of choices of inks. I have both printers, and they work great.

Cory; Not only are there no inksets yet, there are no carts, and no chip resetter, though I'm sure there are folks out there working at it hard. The refurbed 340 seems to be your only choice at this point, but I wouldn't wait too long. In addition to the R340, the RX600 and RX620 all-in-ones use the same cartridges as the R220. Right now, the Epson store has both, one refurbed and the other new. As mentioned here before, R220's and R340's have been seen recently at Ritz Camera retail stores. (aka Wolf Camera aka The Camera Shop aka Kits Camera...) It's been mentioned before I think, but check your local Ritz Camera and their other labels Wolf Camera etc. They had a ton of R220s in stock over the past few years practically giving them away with the purchase of a DSLR. I bought two from my local store and the other week they still had two more on the shelf @ $90. Call a store direct and see if they'll check with other individual stores, not the main online source.

The refurb R340 (with new warranty) is going for $69 from the Epson store. It's a bit nicer printer than the R220, as well.

Thanks for all the info. I went ahead and picked up the R340 (having the built in card reader is going to be nice, in that i can get rid of one item from my desk) refurbed and grabbed a set of MIS neutral inks for it. I'm looking forward to giving it a whirl. Thanks again. --- In DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com, Tom Baker <tbaker1328@...> wrote: > > The refurb R340 (with new warranty) is going for $69 from the Epson store.
