Apologies David. I should have addressed it to another poster. All of this
useless scrolling, just to get to the good bits, has me a bit flustered. I'm
glad you know your stuff... Just wish the problematic posters did too. By
the way, it's confusing on these untrimmed posts to see who posted what.

On some days I go through ten or twelve group digests and it takes precious
time. Evidently, I misidentified you as the culprit! I'm not sure who the
real culprit is but, everyone, please trim your posts!

Yes...especially with all the "boilerplate" this list has.

That's one of the things I like about gmail (don't know about other
clients) - once I'm past the first message in a thread, the repeated
stuff normally isn't displayed

Personally, I love trimming ;) ;) ;)

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
