Digital BW, The Print

Dear All,
I am just starting out in the wonderful world of Piezography and 
quadtone. Was wondering if anyone has any experience with the 
Piezography SplitTone K7 ink set. I have the inks on order from the US 
and I'm about to install Quadtone - other than that I'm starting from 
scratch with the quadtone manual?? Any startup advice greatly 
appeciated.

I have used both the Neutral K7 and SplitTone K7 inks in an R800 and also in
an old 1270 I had lying around.  In the R800 and I suspect also in your 2400
they are really plug and play providing you use papers that are already
profiled in QTR by Cone - that sounds like a hardship, however I have been
very pleased with those papers offered and don't really see the need for any
more.  With the 1270 I have had to make my own QTR profiles which is more of
a chore (given the number of grey inks) but not difficult.
