problem with hahnemuehle profile

I just got a epson 7600 printer and I am printing on hahnemuehle "photo rag" paper. the profile i got of hahnemuehles webside makes the print loose some grey tones. can anyone suggest a god profile for this paper. it is werry important that i can hold the grayscales I have in cmyk. thanks.

Try RGB. That is what the profiles were built for. Mark

Have a profile done for your printer and your paper. I find that this is the best way. Canned ones can be ok, but one done on the basis of the exact colours that your system is producing is the best in my opinion. I print 95% b&w and if a profile is in any way incorrect b&w will be the first place you will see it.
