Epson inks - free shipping

Epson inks - free shipping

2007-04-04 by michael3442

I just ordered a few Epson ink carts for my 2200 directly from Epson.
Much to my surprise they were either the same price or a buck cheaper
than at OfficeMax, OfficeDepot, CompUSA. And by ordering three carts,
they threw in free - overnight - shipping. A day earlier I spent about
$4 and an hour running around to the aforementioned stores, none of
which stock the carts. And the ink arrived overnight - large box, three
tiny carts. Expiration dates of 12/08. Life is good.

Check www.atlex.com

However, they do charge shipping, so you need to figure that into your bottom line.

Michael,

I've never ordered carts for my 2200 from Epson, but their advertised
price is $11.35 a cart. I've always purchased all my ink from Hunt Photo
for $9.00 a cart. As I live local to one of their stores I don't have to
worry about shippping, but I don't think shipping would cost anywhere near
$2.35 a cart, especially if you bought several carts at a time. Anyway,
just a thought as we all are trying to keep the cost of ink as low as
possible.

So what did they cost? IIRC they're about $9 at Atlantic Exchange.

Thanks for the other ink sources. I checked Atlex.com and their shipping charges are way high - $10 for a single cartridge for UPS ground and $40 for overnight; Huntsphotoandvideo.com was better for ground, $4, but overnight was still $40 (Epson's was free for both, but that's not likely to last). Both Atlex and Hunt had cheaper carts. by a couple of bucks.
