Recommendations for getting started

2007-04-27 by Alicia

Hi,

I'm new to this group and even newer to digital black
and white printing. I've been trying to follow along
the posts and learn something, but it's a bit like
trying to follow a conversation in Spanish when you
don't know Spanish and can't even find a Spanish
dictionary!

Can anyone recommend a book or two or a website that
might help get me aquainted with what you're
discussing and the terms you're using?

Also, if anyone knows of any digital printing
(preferably black and white) workshops in or around
Houston, TX, please let me know.

Thanks,
Alicia

Please have a look at the articles at the link below. There is a good
overview as well as some more specific technical articles. It should
help to get started.
