Amen to that. I love VFA with Epson MK and the only thing that holds
me back from using this paper more is the lack of larger paper sizes.

Doesn't make sense does it that the limit is 13x19? They don't even
seem to make the 17x22 anymore. I wonder who actually makes this
paper? A dmax of 1.75 with Epson MK is like what you get on matte
papers with dye blend inks.

By the way those new Wilhelm Chinese ink tests break new records of
anti-permanence:

Guang Zhou Yuan se Ink (China) printed on Yang fan nai li Ink Jet
Color Paper 0.2 years

That takes a lot of talent to produce a dye that bad these days.

Epson has begun shipping Velvet Fine Art in 17" x 22" (US C) sheets. A
box contains 25 sheets. I stopped by my local Calumet in Cambridge, MA
yesterday and they had three boxes. I was surprised because I hadn't
seen it elsewhere yet. I then went home and looked on B&H and found
they have it too. Many other places don't, however.

I'm happy about this, not because I often print at 17" x 22", but
because this will give me a convenient way to obtain one of my
favorite sheet sizes, which is 11" x 17". I'll just use my Rotatrim to
cut a 17" x 22" sheet in half.
