Roller Marks

Roller Marks

2007-05-05 by Richard Smallfield

Hi,
I've just printed a couple of portraits with black backgrounds and there are roller marks present in the black areas.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Many thanks,
Richard

Richard

I had this happen on my 2200 when I switched to MIS ink (although it didn't
seem to occur with Epson ink). MIS offers a solution here:

You don't need to order these little devices. They are just plastic wire
ties clipped to about 1 cm. long. I used fairly small ties, originally about
8 cm. long before trimming.

It does remove the pizza wheel marks but does make printing near the
trailing edge iffy and sometimes the paper is not completely ejected from
the printer.
