Fuji Crystal Archive Matte - signing with pencil?

Fuji Crystal Archive Matte - signing with pencil?

2007-07-05 by Brian Chapman

Hi,

Does anyone know if it's possible to sign Fuji Crystal Archive Matte
with pencil? The reason I ask is that it's not really matte but has a
slight sheen to it. If it is possible, any pencil recommendations?

I realize this question isn't directly related to the printing of
black and white images (even though the prints in question are black
and white...), but I know everyone here is really knowledgeable and I
couldn't really find anywhere else to post it.

Thanks,

Brian

Hi, Brian.

You might try asking your supplier for a piece to practice on. That's what
I did with the outfit that made a print for me. That way you can try a
number of different pencils, pens, whatever.
