Recycling Epson Inkjet Carts?

Recycling Epson Inkjet Carts?

2007-07-13 by Jeff Magidson

Does anyone know of anywhere that accepts Epson inkjet carts for
recycling? I have amassed quite a collection of spent carts from my
R2400. I used to take them to Staples and get $3 each for them but
Staples excluded Epson carts from their recycling program last year.
I would HATE to just throw 35+ carts with chips in to the garbage. I
would even be willing to pay shipping to a recycling center. A web /
Google search has come up empty.

I'm in the US.

Any ideas?

-Jeff

Our small-town CA post office collects them in a box in the lobby,
Jeff; I think they all do.

When I tried to sell mine to my Staples in response to their ad, they
said they didn't buy Epson's, but that they could send them in for
me. I refused to give them to them though and am still buying from
Atlex.com, although the black one for the 200 is less expensive at
Target in the larger nearby towns.

Jeff

I tried posting this friday but I don't see it. Anyway, try checking with your school district. I
give my empty carts to a friend who is a teacher in our school district and they get points
to purchase items for the school. They get our 9600/4000 carts and 4800 and 2200 carts.
I'm not sure what they've bought with the points but it helps the school district.
