They are still stuck with the native capabilitites of the heads, so its 360/720 and dithered 1440/2880 for Epsons and 300/600, and dithered 1200 for the others. So while its possible for them to offer superior results to the OEM drivers (though less and less common for them to manage it) they have to address the heads in a similar manner. C.
