Digital BW, The Print

Hello All,

in the interest of keeping separate lists for separate topics, I started an 
archival color list. 

I know many of you here lead double lives <g> with color printers side-by-side 
with monochrome ones. It's also possible that there is an interest here for 
using archival color inks to do "toned" or "colorized" bw in various flavors. 
Hence the announcement on this list.

The new list should explore the various inksets that claim "archival" qualities 
as well as practical ways to use them - such as best approaches to profiling  
them.

Needless to say, in the same spirit as this bw list, there is no affiliation with a 
commercial entity, so all products can be discussed "shamelessly"! And that 
includes price comparisons. Also there is the possibility of sharing profiles  for 
review and comments.

As with other lists, this one will only be as good and as helpful as those who 
join it. Hope to see you there - if it is of interest to you, that is.
