I have had exactly the same problem with Silver Rag on my 2400. I solved it
by bending downward the corner of the trailing edge of the paper - the
corner where the headstrike left its mark. It took me a while to get just
the right amount of bend. Too much makes a slight hump, inviting a
headstrike in a different place. Now that I have learned to make just the
right bend I'm happy again with Silver Rag. Try it. I hope it helps.
