Drying coated prints

Drying coated prints

2007-08-10 by esharamaki

I've been fooling around with coating matte paper with a glossy water-
based coating. I don't think I would coat all the time but I do like
it as it makes a heavy matte paper feel like an old fiber print. I'm
getting dust/lint etc landing on the prints as they dry, messing up my
nice glossy coat. I was wondering how people prevent this? Some sort
of drying booth perhaps?

To solve your problem, look into drying racks or trays. Many companies
make them, from heavy duty steele racks to Rubbemraid drying trays. We
have used the Rubbermaid drying trays for years with great success.
