OT--recommended hosting provider

OT--recommended hosting provider

2007-09-15 by Matt Haber

I'm completely fed up with GoDaddy as a hosting/email provider--
they indiscriminately block email, and I've now had two completely
legit sources (one tech company and one hotel, both potentially with
non-US domains) tell me that they have received bounces when
sending email to me.

I've called GoDaddy to ask that any filters be removed (the first
instance was when bounces were causing yahoo to block this
group's emails), and they simply don't care.

So now I am thinking of running, rather than walking, from their
"service."

I'm looking for a IPP that can do the following:
-fairly fast server hosting (I'm running Gallery 2, which seems to
want a fast server)
-PHP access (the reason that I left my previous, solid IPP)
-multiple email accounts, and webmail
-FTP access
-of course, good price <G>

I don't need an enourmous amount of on-line storage.

Thanks.

Matt,

I use

http://www.totalchoicehosting.com/

and have had no problems with them. I have their starter plan, which I
believe includes the services/software that you describe in your message.

Best wishes,

Manuel

Lunar pages is by far the best. There are several sites dedicated to
reviews of web hosts and lunar pages wins on all. I've been completely
happy.

Hi all,

When looking for a hosting service and after doing a
lot of research I concluded that:
http://www.ixwebhosting.com
seems to have about the best. You should certainly
take a look at it. Amongst other things, it's Windows,
Linux and Mac compatible! It has 24/7 support and they
DO answer back immediately, be it via chat or phone.
Ihope this is helps.

Regards,
Pablo
