hampering paper feed of Epson 2100

hampering paper feed of Epson 2100

2007-10-23 by Joost Horsten

Tonight I was in the midst of a series of test prints for an exhibition
when suddenly the paper feed of my Epson 2100 hampered: printer tries
to load a sheet but is not capable of doing so. At first only A6 sheets
didn't work, but now it doesn't work properly at all (a4 -A6, photo
rag - standard thin printing paper). I tried to fiddle with it, but The
printer is difficult to open, so I have no clue what happened. Any
suggestions how to approach this?

Thanks in advance!

Joost

Your problem's likely that the rollers are dirty or have a layer of
whatever comes off fine art matte papers on them.
There are various ways of cleaning them, check here for a start:

Ken,

Thanks for the pointer. I'll give it try tonight.
