Demo version of ProfileMaker 5 Measure tool available?

Demo version of ProfileMaker 5 Measure tool available?

2007-10-31 by JensGerbitz

Hi,

I was reading U. Steinmueller's article on soft-proofing B&W images
(http://www.outbackphoto.com/artof_b_w/bw_09/essay.html). In the
article he mentions G-M's PM 5 Measure tool, saying the demo version
would be fine for what has to be done.

I just received their i1 Photo LT so I have the necessary equipment,
but I can't for the life of me find the demo version of PM5... anybody
know if it is still available?

Many thanks in advance,
Jens

Nevermind... turns out there is no "demo version" as such. One just
needs to download the program itself, most of which won't work
without a hardware dongle. The demo version is enough for what this
article was getting at though so it's all good.

Cheers,
Jens

Thanks Jens.
I was not aware that ProfileMaker was available for download, with limited features of course.

I needed a tool to make my Eyeone spectrophotometer read Lab- or density values for the
linearization process in Bowhaus IJC/OPM. Measuretool provides Lab-values (not density)
without the hardware dongle. GREAT!
