Don't run cleaning cycles. Just print a nozzel check pattern. If the
pattern shows the nozzels are clogged, just let the printer sit
overnight and try again the next day.
Also, you may want to take your syringe and adapter and remove a
little bit of ink (from the poppet valve) to re-prime the carts.
Try that fisrt, the do a nozzle check. If clogged, let it set awhile,
the try again.
Just don't do cleanings. It will just waste ink and make things worse.
The C-86 has clogged less for me that any other Epson printer I've
owned (the R800 being the worst!).
