Hi Elizabeth-

 If you were starting from scratch which ink and paper combination would
you start from?  

Either the MIS Archival inks or the Generations 4 or 5 inks.

The 5 is the same colors as the 4, but you can use it on glossy papers.

I've never had clogs from either, and both seem to fairly equal in their gamut.


What was wrong with the 1200?

No, that is recommended. THe inks are compatible.

Do we know if there is dusting or bronzing with the Gen5 on glossy stock?

Norm Says not, that it prints beautifully on glossy papers.
