I created a profile using QTR. It produced a profile that is available in the standard print driver but it seems that the CS 3 plugin from Canon does not recognize grayscale profiles. Is there a way to produce an RGB/Grayscale profile from QTR or has someone out there got a work around. The reason for not using the standard printer driver is that I get much better prints using the plugin. Any and all help would be appreciated. Greg......

isn't there a "create ICC RGB" for this very purpose? Tyler --- In DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com, "onehorsestudio" <onehorsestudio@...> wrote:

Greg, If I were using a Canon I would be seriously looking into the Bauhaus IJC OPM rip they set up for those printers. A month or so back I emailed one of those guys and asked about their support for the 12 channel HPZs and he said they hadn't got to them yet, but had developed a very good support for the 12 channel Canons that was almost finished. He said that they loved the Canons, which I translated into he was happy with the outcome they had ended up with. I would email them for sure. I've seen monochrome prints on Silver Rag they did of the Herman Leondard jazz work and they know their stuff. I would belive what they say. http://www.bowhaus.com/services/IJCOPMmain.php4 John --- In DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com, "onehorsestudio" <onehorsestudio@...> wrote:

I really liked the prints I was getting. The only problem is that the beta program has expired and they haven't released the final program yet. I found the "create ICC-RGB". Thank you. I will try that in the morning. Best Regards, Greg.....
